Learn more about this agency ### * Performs the mechanical maintenance in a hydroelectric powerplant, dam, and facilities. * Performs mechanical maintenance on turbines, generators, motors, pumps, valves, pipes, penstocks, and compressors, etc. * Operates gantry, bridge, mobile cranes and hoists, moving, dismantling, assembling, overhauling, and repairing of hydroelectric plant machinery and related equipment. * Uses oxyacetylene, arc, arc-air, tungsten inert gas (TIG) and metal inert gas (MIG) equipment when welding, cutting, or soldering. * Performs pipe fitting work on air, water, gas, oil, hydraulic, and refrigeration piping. * Responsible for the safe use and maintenance of tools and equipment.
