Principal Duties Responsibilities Replacement or repair of computer systems, MUST be able to diagnose trouble codes electrical systems Replacement of diesel engine internal external components Diesel engine external drive train, steering, suspension and brake components Electrical systems, starting and charging components Diesel air system Physical requirements Regularly required to stand, use hands to finger, handle, feel and reach Occasionally required to talk and hear, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl Work environment—outdoor and indoor shop environment with adequate ventilation, perform road calls with company vehicle as needed Regularly working near moving mechanical parts; with some vibration Occasionally working in (non-weather) wet or humid conditions; in (non-weather) extreme heat or cold; in high, precarious places; with fumes, airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals; in outdoor weather conditions Loud noise levelQualifications Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred or 2 to 5 years related experience and/or training Equivalent combination of education and experience or higher Must have own tools and valid drivers’ license Must have basic computer skills CDL a plusJob Type: Full-time Pay: Dependent on experience Benefits: Short Long term accident insurance 401(k) Matching percentage Dental Insurance Health Insurance Life Insurance Paid Time Off Vision InsuranceSchedule: 8 Hour Shift Holidays Monday to Friday Day or Night Shift Overtime when necessaryExperience: diesel mechanic: 2-5 years (Preferred)License: Motor Vehicle Inspection License (Preferred) Driver's License (Preferred) CDL Class A (Preferred)Work Location: One locationSkills: Diesel engines Mechanic experience Auto body repair Brakes DiagnosticsPay Frequency: WeeklyVehicle Type: Heavy trucksShop Type: Customer FleetTool Reimbursement: NoCertification Reimbursement: Paid trainingThis Job Is: A job for which military experienced candidates are encouraged to apply Open to applicants who do not have a college diploma
