Our confidential client has asked us to help them find a Diesel Mechanic for their Heavy Truck Shop in Pittsburgh, PA. Diesel Mechanic Qualifications/Skills: Perform heavy duty truck/trailer repair and maintenance. Verify all service work has been performed and completed with the highest possible standard of quality. Read and interpret work orders, service information and wiring diagrams. Uses safe working practices and follows all company safety requirements. Diesel Mechanic Requirements: High School Diploma, 2 year Technical School preferred. Equivalent amount of work experience may be considered in lieu of schooling. Must have or be willing to acquire CDL A or B License preferred, assistance will be given to obtain Occasional local delivery needs and road service calls Works in a cooperative manner with other team members from all locations to accomplish the goals of the shop and the companyCommunicates effectively with Service Advisor/Writer, Service Coordinator, and/or Service Manager to ensure problems, nature of repair, and status of repairs are understood and followed.
